The difference between polyurethane synchronous belt and rubber synchronous belt
summary:
Many people do not know which material is better

Many people do not know which material is better when choosing a synchronous belt. At present, the main types of synchronous belts on the market are polyurethane synchronous belts and rubber synchronous belts. Although both are synchronous belts, there are significant differences in product quality and material composition, and they cannot even be considered the same thing.

Polyurethane synchronous belt is a very common material, mostly composed of thermoplastic polyurethane and high-strength steel wire. Thermoplastic polyurethane materials have high wear resistance, and various types of wire cores inside can ensure good mobility during transmission. The open PU synchronous belt transmission is reliable and the size is stable. In the production process of enterprises, adding a layer of nylon on the tooth surface or tooth back can ensure special operations in special applications. Of course, it can also be added to the back of the belt. A thick layer of polyurethane can effectively prevent high corrosion or high load phenomena.

Generally, nylon wire (or steel wire, copper wire) is used as the tensile body and cast with polyester, which has the characteristics of oil resistance, impact resistance, and beautiful appearance. Chemical properties can resist aging, hydrolysis, UV and ozone. The working temperature can reach -30 ℃ to+80 ℃, and it can withstand+110 ℃ for a short time. It is also resistant to most acid and alkali corrosion, highly resistant to oil, and resistant to oil esters
