What is a synchronous toothed belt
Aug 26,2024

Synchronous toothed belt, also known as timing belt, is a flexible transmission form similar to common V-belt, flat belt and other belt transmission methods. Synchronous toothed belt is made of steel wire rope or glass fiber rope as the strong layer, covered with polyurethane or chloroprene rubber on the outside, and the inner circumference of the belt is made into a toothed shape to mesh with the toothed belt pulley. Due to the small deformation of the strong layer after bearing, the circumference of the toothed belt remains unchanged, so there is no relative sliding between the belt and the pulley, ensuring synchronous transmission and constant transmission ratio.
